I hope that you have all had a marvellous Easter break and are ready for the term ahead of us. Class 1 will continue to be taught every morning by Mrs Hobkirk and on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons. Every Thursday afternoon the children will have Forest School with Mrs Swayne. Mrs Caroline Clare will teach the children RE on Friday afternoons. Reception and Year 1 will continue to be joined by Year 2 every afternoon.
Our value this term 'Creativity'. We will be focusing on this value in Worship and in class; linking it where appropriate to other areas of learning.
Our class page will be regularly updated so please be sure to have a look from time to time
to see what fun learning we have been up to.
On Friday mornings (between 8.45 and 9.00 am) you are very welcome to join us in our classroom to have a look at the children's books and our classroom displays.
I look forward to working closely with you this term. If there is anything I can help with please feel free to come in and speak to me.
We made houses for Jack and his Mother to live in. Unfortunately the giant came along and had an almighty sneeze. Luckily, we had thought carefully about what materials to make our houses from in order that they could withstand a giant's sneeze. As is tradition in a fairy tale, there was a happy end and all of the houses stayed fully intact.
We had fun investigating whether people with bigger feet have bigger hands.
