Cold Aston

The North Cotswold Schools Federation Governing Body

Here at Cold Aston C of E Primary School our mission is to make learning meaningful, make it relevant, and above all make it fun! We are a welcoming friendly school; a place where children and staff look forward to coming to each morning. We have an active and supportive Governing Body that recognises the enthusiastic and dedicated teaching team. Together with an active parent group (PTA) we fully support the Headteacher and the whole school community.

Governors have a general responsibility for the effective and efficient management of the school, acting within the framework set by national legislation, and by the policies of the LA. Foundation governors in addition to general responsibility have a role in maintaining the Christian foundation of the school.

The governors meet once each term and all aspects of the running of the school from both a practical and academic point of view are discussed. Funding is by a budget set by the LA.

Our flexible class structure ensures that our children receive an exceptionally personal level of teaching. Pupils' progress is closely monitored and teaching is adapted to meet their learning needs. We very much look forward to welcoming you and your children, and invite you to come and experience the magic that makes Cold Aston C of E Primary so special.
