English Homework

Homework expectations:

We expect your homework books to be kept neat and be in school on the day your homework is due. Please make sure your presentation in these books are to the same quality as we expect in your school books. Unless you have your pen licence, please use pencil.

We would love for you to be creative and take pride in the tasks you are set for homework. If you wish to use a computer to do you homework, please just stick your work in neatly or bring it in on a memory stick.

Remember homework club is held on a Thursday lunchtime and we will be there to help you if you need any. If you regularly fail to return your homework on time, you will be asked to stay in each Thursday lunchtime to do you homework.

English Homework

All:

Linked to our English topic for the next two weeks, we would like you to write a tongue twister based on your summer holiday. You could focus on just one event during the holidays or try and include a few. We look forward to hearing you share your poem on Monday 18th September

Year 6:

Head Boy and Girl Speeches

Your speech must include these sections:

- Me and my hobbies.

- My school journey (when you started at Cold Aston and your favourite moments so far).

- Why I would make a good Head Boy/Girl (think about your values and things you would bring to the role).

- What I would like do as Head Boy/Girl (make sure these are achievable).

Good luck! Remember you will be delivering your speeches on Friday 22nd September at 9 am in the Church.
