RE - Longborough C of E Primary School – Foundation / Key Stage One

This overview is based on the revised Gloucestershire Agreed Syllabus and is a two year cycle for Foundation/KS1.

Harvest:

Yr a)   A time for sharing and giving thanks (focusing on harvest, what happens during a harvest festival, and giving thanks to God)

Yr b)  A time for remembering.  ( Remembering St Francis of Assisi 2 hrs and ways in which we can look after animals and take responsibility for them )                                                        

Yr a)  Being special / Who made the world ? 1a

Yr b)  What does it mean to belong ? 3b

Yr a)   Babies / Birthdays – Jesus’ Birthday, Jesus’ birth and what he is special to Christians
