Class 3: Years 3 and 4

Welcome to Class 3

Welcome back to a new year, I hope you have all had a lovely summer and are ready for a fun and hard working year ahead!  This term our learning will be linked to the Big Question...'What does it mean to be alive? We will start this off by learning about the Stone Age in history and Rocks and Soils in science.

This year, Wednesday afternoons will be known as Well -being Wednesdays.  We will cover our PSHCE curriculum during this time as well as enjoying circle time games and discussions. Fresh air and nature are so important for our mental health so with this in mind, weather permitting, we will take some of our session outside.

There is a slight change to last year's timetable, I will now be teaching PE on Monday afternoon so please can children come to school in their PE kit and bring a waterproof coat in-case the weather turns 'British'!

On a Friday afternoon up to half term the children will enjoy Forest Friday with Miss Mountford. Please can they come to school wearing uniform on top with trousers/leggings and trainers. After half term, Miss Riddle will teach the children music and French on Friday afternoons.

I will update the class gallery (below) with photos of what we get up to!

Please don't hesitate to get in touch via email or at the gate if you have any questions. Thank you for your continued support.
