St James' PTFA work hard to raise thousands of pounds for the school each year, in the form of:

• Additional educational tools  (iPads for the classrooms)
• Sports equipment (floorball equipment)
• Parties
• Cinema nights
• Yearly class outings
•  

We also help to fund the annual trip to the pantomime at Chipping Norton for the whole school.

Last summer the PTFA funded the repainting of both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 playgrounds at a cost of £7,500 which is being enjoyed by all of the pupils.

Future projects include the development of the new Forest School area and the upgrading of the fencing at the front of the school.

We also support local charities and in the past few years have donated to Winston's Wish, The County Air Ambulance Service, Campden Home Nursing and The National Autistic Society.

Our fundraising events include:

• Bingo nights
• Cake sales
• Refreshments at Sports Day/Nativity/School Play
• Summer Ball
• Bonfire Night

To enable such events to happen requires a large number of volunteers, whether as part of the organising team or just doing a few hours on the day. We welcome any help from parents, every little bit helps to make these events a success.

We are always open to any ideas for future fundraising events.

This year our Bonfire Night and Fireworks is being held on 2nd November.  This event is a significant fundraiser for the PTFA and requires a number of volunteers in order for the event to run. If you could help at all with this event please email friendsofstjames01@gmail.com
