The school is proud of its image and seeks to promote a high standard of dress to help give the children a sense of pride in the school. We do expect all children to wear the recognised school uniform which is as follows:

BOYS:

Winter

• Blue polo shirt embroidered with the school badge*
• Round necked sweatshirts or cardigans embroidered with the school badge
• Grey or black trousers
• Dark socks
• Black shoes

Summer

• Blue polo shirt embroidered with the school badge*
• Grey or black shorts

GIRLS

• Grey skirt/ pinafore or smart traditional grey trousers 
• Round necked sweatshirts or cardigans embroidered with the school badge*

PE KIT

All children are expected to change for physical activities for reasons of hygiene and safety. Please bring PE kits in on a Monday morning and take home on a Friday. PE kit should be kept in school everyday.

• Navy tee-shirts embroidered with the school badge*
• Black/navy shorts or skorts
• Black/navy tracksuit bottoms
• Trainers are required for the field
• Pumps for dance and gymnastics 

There is no specific coat included in the uniform list although they are available from Wreal embroidery.

EARLY YEARS

In Reception the children are encourage to learn outside in all weathers so they need appropriate clothing in school for this. We recommend that a pair of wellies are in school every day especially during the autumn and winter months. Please name all items of clothing and footwear.

General Information 

If your child has pierced ears they may wear small plain studs.

Long hair should be tied up. Hair-bands should be in a colour sympathetic to the uniform (blue, black, grey, white).

All clothes should be clearly labelled with your child’s name.

Please note that the wearing of rings, bracelets, earrings and necklaces is discouraged, as these may be dangerous in play situations. Nail varnish and tattoo stickers should not be worn to school.

Please speak to the Executive Headteacher regarding wearing jewellery for religious purposes.

For health and safety reasons, items of jewellery, especially earrings, are not allowed during PE activities.
